
THC Marks Milestone with Airbus, Celebrating Delivery of 20th H145 Helicopter
Donauwörth, Germany - 22 February 2025 – The Helicopter Company (THC), a fully owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and the Kingdom's premier commercial helicopter operator, recently celebrated the addition of its 20th H145 Airbus helicopter, adding to its growing fleet as a result of its long-standing partnership with Airbus.
This milestone highlights the strength of THC’s partnership with Airbus, which aims to expand THC’s fleet, thereby enhancing its range of services, which include Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS), tourism, and private charter operations. In February 2024, THC signed a framework agreement with Airbus for the delivery of 120 helicopters of various types over a period of 5 to 7 years.
Airbus hosted Mashour Al-Saadi, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of THC, and A.J. Baker, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), to celebrate this accomplishment.
THC is experiencing rapid growth, aiming to continue growing its overall fleet, expand its service offerings, and prove that everything is possible in aviation with the right partner.
