The Helicopter Company Signs MoU with Saudi Aviation Club to Support Expansion
Riyadh – 20 February 2025 – The Helicopter Company (THC), a fully owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and the Kingdom's premier commercial helicopter operator, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Aviation Club (SAC) to strengthen strategic partnerships and support its expansion efforts. The signing took place in the presence of HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, with THC showcasing its H160 aircraft.
As part of this strategic partnership, THC collaborates with SAC to secure hangar space for its fleet and access related aviation services, enabling operational growth and enhanced service capabilities. This agreement aligns with THC’s broader objectives of expanding its footprint in the Kingdom while reinforcing its commitment to Vision 2030 and the development of Saudi Arabia’s aviation sector.
By leveraging SAC’s infrastructure and resources, THC aims to optimize its fleet management and operational efficiency, ensuring the continued delivery of premium aviation services across various sectors, including helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS), private charters, and aerial operations.
This MoU reflects THC’s dedication to building strong industry partnerships, driving innovation, and contributing to Saudi Arabia’s position as a global leader in aviation.
