The Helicopter Company Signs MoU with Oil Park Development Company to Deliver Premium Helicopter Services for THE RIG, the World’s First Offshore Adventure Tourism Destination
The partnership aims to enhance visitor transport services and elevate the tourism experience in the Kingdom.
Riyadh, 5 August 2024 – The Helicopter Company (THC), a fully owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and the Kingdom's premier commercial helicopter operator, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oil Park Development Company (OPDC) to provide premium helicopter services to THE RIG, the world’s first offshore adventure tourism destination.
Under this partnership, THC will deliver specialized helicopter services characterized by the highest standards of safety, comfort and efficiency, facilitating seamless, safe, luxurious travel for visitors to and from THE RIG.
By making the destination more accessible, the agreement reflects THC’s commitment to enhancing Saudi Arabia’s tourism and entertainment offerings in line with Vision 2030, with a particular focus on improving transportation infrastructure.
