Riyadh, 23 October 2024 – The Helicopter Company (THC), a fully owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund and the Kingdom's premier commercial helicopter operator, participated in the Global Health Exhibition 2024, held from October 21 to 23 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center (Malham).
The Global Health Exhibition is one of the premier healthcare events in the region, bringing together global leaders, healthcare professionals, and industry innovators. With a focus on investment in healthcare advancements, the event offers a platform for key stakeholders to explore the latest trends, technologies, and services driving the future of healthcare.
Aligned with the event’s theme, 'Invest in Health,' THC demonstrated its commitment to transforming the healthcare sector in the Kingdom by showcasing its Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS). THC highlighted its pivotal role in providing rapid air ambulance services, ensuring swift and safe medical evacuations in critical situations.
The company’s HEMS operations are equipped with advanced medical equipment and staffed by skilled medical personnel, offering on-site emergency care and transportation to medical facilities across Saudi Arabia.
Since its inception, THC’s HEMS service has saved over 3,500 lives, a testament to the critical role it plays in emergency medical response. With a fleet of modern helicopters, THC ensures 24/7 readiness to respond to medical emergencies, minimizing response times and bridging the gap between rural areas and specialized healthcare centers.
